The Department of Psychology at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University hosted Dr. JP Prims for the fall semester’s second Brummer Colloquium in Psychology on Monday, Nov. 5 in the Freed-Curd Auditorium on ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State’s campus.
ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University welcomed alumna Alyson Van Hooser to campus on Nov. 4 as the keynote speaker for the 3rd Annual First-Generation Celebration.
Emergent SocialScapes, an exhibit of photographs by Dr. Diane Sabenacio Nititham, associate professor of sociology at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University, is on display at the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Art Guild (MAG) through Saturday, October 30. A reception for the exhibit will be held at MAG on Friday, October 22 from 5-6:30 p.m. The exhibit and reception are open to the public.
The 12th annual A Taste of the Arts fundraising gala will be held Thursday, October 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Room of the CFSB Center. A Taste of the Arts showcases the many talents of ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University students in Art & Design, Music, and Theatre Arts while providing fine dining and a live auction for attendees. The event gathers ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State supporters and alumni along with community members to celebrate excellence in the fine arts at the University.
ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University will welcome alumna Alyson Van Hooser to campus on November 4 as part of its annual First-Generation Celebration. The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. that day in the Curris Center Ballroom.
