The creative writing program at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University is pleased to announce its first reading of the 2021-22 school year. Poet and Department of English & Philosophy alumnus B.J. Wilson will read from his work on Thursday, September 30 at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
The Department of Global Languages and Theatre Arts at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University is pleased to present its first show of the 2021-22 performance season, Androcles and the Lion. All performances will take place in the Robert E. Johnson Theatre in the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building on ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State’s campus. Performance dates are Wednesday, September 29 at Noon; Thursday, September 30 at 9:30 a.m.; Friday, October 1 at 9:30 a.m.; and Saturday, October 2 at 2:30 p.m.
The Department of Political Science and Sociology at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University will host its annual Constitution Day celebration on Friday, September 17, with a number of lectures, debates, and games about topics related to the Constitution of the United States.
The ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University rodeo team continues with preparations for a successful season and building momentum for the program, coupled with support from University Administration, the Hutson School of Agriculture, as well as generous alumni and supporters.
