The 4th annual Philanthropy Week is hosted by the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University Nonprofit Leadership Studies program, the Nonprofit Resource Center, the Department of Organizational Communication and Leadership and the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business.

Philanthropy Week 2024 will focus on Nonprofits and the Arts. Leaders in the arts nonprofit community who are making a difference on the local, state and national level will join us for an exciting week of presentations and activities.

  • Monday, April 15 - Empty Bowls Make Day for Needline with the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State University Clay Club and the ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Art Guild.

Join us to hear Dr. Elise Kieffer discuss concepts from her upcoming book, Rural Arts Management (Routledge), which combines research and practice to prepare arts managers and scholars for success while navigating the unique challenges of rural settings, from communication disparities, to power dynamics, to scarce human and financial resources.

Join ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s King Kaiju for an afternoon of music and explore the summer program opportunities of regional arts organizations. There will be kids activities. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. In Partnership with WKMS and sponsored by Tap 216.
