Scholarships
Bertrand Ball Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students who are majoring or minoring in a foreign language. To be eligible, recipients must major or minor in a Global Language program or certificate, must have earned a minimum GPA of 3.0, and must be enrolled in language courses at or above the 200 level when they apply. Hunt and Jennye Sue Smock Scholarship Endowment for Spanish Language Immersion
This scholarship is for currently enrolled ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State students with sophomore or junior status at the time of study abroad in any academic major. Students must have completed 12 hours of college-level Spanish language study, and must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. They also must return to ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ State during the academic year following the study abroad program. Only participants in Spanish language programs who take at least one Spanish language course while abroad will be considered. Financial need will be a consideration and recipients of the scholarship may reapply in the future. Scholarships are awarded in minimum amounts of $1,000.
